i'm back from poland all 'yall! be excited! it was really great and i'm still pretty tired. i'm not even gonna type about it but if you really wanna know you'd meet me for coffee and picture time... so ever since i've been home i've been at work and tonite is inventory where i'll be working 6 pm to 2 am...the entire i was in poland i just kept thinking how much i wanna get a tattoo ( or 2)...i need to start saving up cause i already know what i want...also, i have a new roomie and hes excellant...the house looks so nice and clean and i bought some plants and i've gotten a zillion responses for roomies in september...also i am covered in numerous bruises...from what? the hell if i know...also i have a belt of mosquito bites around my waist from applying bug spray to everywhere but where my shirt goes up when i sit down...so if you want to see some pictures of me sitting on a giant piece of schlacked (sp?) polish bread or want to know how to say 'i'm on the pill' in polish, you know who to call
i absolutely absued the shins and mirah on the trip...i can't listen to them for a very very long time now

right now i find myself eating special k out of a glass measuring cup because it is the only clean dish....the apartment is foul right now...i'm been back here for 4 hours and i already wanna go back home
mothers day was made amazing by my grandmother who kept constantly taking her teeth out...it was just icing on the cake when she began inquiring from my father about pot and where she could get it

today in class my teacher told me she liked my shirt then proceeded to tell me how children in india probably handmade it and were probably only paid ten cents for their troubles
thanks, teach cause i needed THAT on my conscience
besides, it s a shirt made by a hippie-ish company and hippies wouldn't use child labor right? right?
well i guess thats the story i'm sticking to anyways...i only have like 4 shirts !

good to know that the apartment looks just as raunchy as when i last saw it on friday morning...theres even still chicken nuggets which have officially been sitting out for 4 days...ick...as i chow down on this second bag of chicks ducks and bunnies i must reflect....i apologize to everyone...i've been shutting you out cause i have work and it does not make me want to hang out with you more when you call me a nerd...in other news....ben kweller is so fantastic..i still have the biggest crush on him and have since age 14, even though hes married now?!?! liz treated me to a super time friday and it was just fabulous...remember those songs you thought were amazing back in the day? remember how they were all by blink 182? maybe thats just my past....i remember when i thought the sun rose and set on a little song called 'apple shampoo' and how i faked german along with a german punk song on some compliation i have....those were quite the days....easter was super fun....i'm hopefully seeing my cousins 2 bands on friday...i bought a cute summer dress and fro-yo.....life is good minus the gobs of work i have to get down now now now...i had a presentation this morning so that is thankfully over but millions of papers await i tell ya ! millions! for now, prior to work and registration, i will sit here chomping all the easter-related pink and purple ducks while reminescing about 7th grade and the music which goes with it...or any music from car rides with liz

this weather is absolutely hellish....i slaved over my kitchen stove today making 2 dozen cupcake cones with star sprinkles...they were a hit at the all school show which made me very happy...people also said they liked my paintings so that made me glad too...i love going to shows at school because i always end up seeing people outside of class i've always wanted to hang out with...the small metals show was probably my favorite yet again....
in other news:
i've recently become obsessed with wearing lipstick...i'm starting with neutral shades but soon it may be out of control
i have 2 presentations next week
that being said i'm probably not leaving my house this til next firday when i go home fo easter
taking down the show saturday is going to conflict with me wanting to go get the darkness' autograph
i'm sick and the rain is not helping

just got back from david bowie....so amazing...he played everything i could have hoped for...he opened with rebel rebel and closed with heroes then closed his encore with ziggy stardust....hes amazing...except he should not dance ever...the polyphonic spree on the other hand should always dance...theyre so crazy! first off theres 25 of them....2 drum players, a nine member chrous, one guitar player, a lead singer, a harp players,a keyboard player,and lots of dancers....theyre so nice and happy so you have to like them and smile....they were all wearing these long white robes
(which you could buy at the merchandise stands) and they looked kinda cult-like but they were still fun...tons of people smoked and the woman behind me kept yelling 'DAVID BOWIE! WHERE"S DAVID?'...then she left like 9 songs early...which was good for everyone

good times hace certainly been had over the past few days....friday was kinda nonproductive except for going to the show at school and getting some painting done...saturday i had a fun little movie nite with friends and 'wet hot american summer', pizza, and beer...yesterday was a fun day of being outside in the nice weather, iced coffee, watching homicide episodes, making crazy brownies, painting and then going to a concert...i ended up going to the cocorosie/enon/blackheartprocession show...i finally ate at the middle east for the first time which i'm always saying i should do...food was decent enough...the music was really good even tho i was tired and the couple beside me kept making out and rubbing up against me and the girl kept hitting me with her enormous shopping bag which for god knows what reason she decided to bring to the concert...then she kept elbowing aaron because she was making the biggest scene twirling her hair...in other great news: my sister wrote a paper for school on how i inspire her...isn'tthat great? you ( anyone reading this) should also write one...pronto!

last nite i attended my first mary kay party and ended up spending over 40bucks on hand lotion and lip blam accessories...but it makes my skin and lips so smooth was my rational and i'm still sticking with that...last nite i also went to a painting/music show at school...the work was really great...sometimes i miss being a studio major even though i love art history...i loved having made such a huge amount of work even in just a semester in painting...i have to really make time to paint now...i really want to put a piece in the all school show but that entails me 'whipping something up' by wednesday, so we'll see if that can happen...hopefully

so i haven't updated in a million years so heres the dl...spring break was pretty good and relaxing....hung around home alot but enjoyed myself at the coffeeshop amongst other things....alot of 'a wedding story' was watched...a lot of the darkness was listened to....this is spinal tap was purchased....i sadly won't be in philly this weekend but perhaps at the black heart procession/enon/cocorosie show? who knows....talking to old friends is amazing and i'm in a pretty good mood...maybe its the pomegranate juice

killing time before class...ah the perfect time for a new entry...my past few days have been spent working, buying 43ยข eyeshadows, and obsessively listening to the same songs over and over...i have decided to give up all control of my life and leave it up to my friend at work ( who seemed excited to get this job) and horoscopes... i don't feel like going to class at 2 but i have to...i really need to be go home and just put everything on hold for a while...i'm tired and overworked and blah and i feel like a gross unproductive person even when i work constantly...and i have no money even though i have a steady job...no money means no fun, well movies, eating, etc...start referring to me as lisa the hermit but be frightened if i literally start to built myself a hermit shack in the woods...and if i do that stop me or atleast grab a hammer and help

so i've been a busy little one...thursday day i had class and work...then i had a great time friday...i met with liz, the umd crew, and friends from home...we went shopping and to chilis....good times were certainly had invloving conversions about presidents composed of brownie batter and reminescing about pcc days...plans were made for eighties night in providence and a possible trip to philly...yesterday i went to connecticut to see some great kahn buildings and the richard hamilton exhibit at the bac...also there were some of david hockney's prints up which i don't like as much as his photos but much more than those paintings he did which i dislike...so good work d.h. ....now i should really work on that 'lost' paper but i'll probably give up and go to marshalls and target

so last nite i went to see 'my architect' (which was great) and ate some filling indian food...my wondeful nite ended on an annoying note however, something which is still bugging me...sometimes i wish i commuted to school...on a side note, i am super excited for elvis costello tommorrow and new haven on saturday, then its home to sort out this poland stuff and probably go to target...2 of the roomies are subletting, i would do the same if i didn't have a job/ job possibilities here....its to annoying to sublet a summerplace then find a new one next year too....think i'll just stick it out and hope for the best
